Spring Writing Challenge

By Emily Heinrich

As spring is getting closer and kids are getting excited for summer it’s hard to keep them interested in school work. One great way to solve this is a with fun writing prompts. These writing prompts will help engage your kids to think about things that they thankful for and provide them with ways to be creative.

The spring writing challenge is a month long challenge during the month of May and has different prompts for each day of the week. Place the calendar where your kids can see it so they can get to work right away. For younger kids you can always have them draw a picture of the prompt instead of writing it and its also always fun to have your kids share their story once they are finished with it!

You can download the calendar here:  May 2020 Writing Challenge (1)
